Join us on Thursday, March 20, at 5:30 PM for our Annual Meeting. We’ll reflect on our achievements over the past year, set goals for the year ahead, and welcome your input as we shape the future of Home Hosts. To RSVP, log in to your home host account.
We’re also accepting nominations for the Home Hosts Board of Directors and looking for committee volunteers. If you have time and talents to share, now is the perfect time! The hours vary, but typically, expect about five hours a month. We are all volunteers, so full disclosure: You are your administrative staff. - Jacksonport—The Town board recently met to review STR restrictions. Home Hosts worked hard to provide data and facts to engage the Board and advocate for common sense-based policy. We’re grateful to announce that our elected officials listened, dropped the overly restrictive occupancy limit, and opted for a fair and balanced policy. Read the full update here >Â
- Liberty Grove—The Liberty Grove Town Board met on Wednesday, Feb. 5, to review the current short-term rental ordinance. During the next meeting, members were asked to bring concerns regarding short-term rentals to discuss. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19, 6 – 8 p.m., in person only, at 11161 Old Stage Rd. Sister Bay, WI 54234. Please let us know if you are able to attend and note any STR topics that are covered.Â
